THE iconic Cossar newspaper press has been installed at the National Museum of Scotland Collection Centre at Granton near Edinburgh.
The press was accepted by the Curator Alison Taubman and an official handover was made on June 4.
This took place in front of a party of 12 former printers who have been working towards finding a proper home for this well known local newspaper printing press.
These printers included David Phillips of the Strathearn Herald in Crieff, Perthshire.
It will now be cared for and looked after in perpetuity.
